Political correctness has a stranglehold on you guys. Heck, it has a stranglehold on most people. Profiling isn't wrong, it's common sense.

If one day the INS decided to immediately deport all illegals, and Dodge thus made it a priority to round them up, should little old black ladies be pulled over as part of that operation too, so that we don't profile? That's ridiculous. It's as ridiculous as not being able to give added attention to Arabs going through airport security.

I think it's crazy to - in one breath complain about society's ever-increasing ills - then in the next breath we saddle cops so that it's nearly impossible for them to correct the problems.

I've been around enough cops to know that after years of experience they develop a sense of "who done it." Why not turn them loose with that instinct to do what we pay them to do? It's no wonder that after awhile they throw their hands up and give up.

Wyatt Earp would be ashamed.
