Seems like
DC is becoming small town America. I remember when there were times when there was so much goin' on that there wasn't room in the paper to publish who met who for lunch or dinner. You see that in the small town weeklies, don't need to see it in Dodge City! You hit the nail on the head, JR - there isn't any room for assumption in the paper unless it's a letter to the editor. Last time I checked, it wasn't newsworthy when somebody had lunch or dinner. Sounds like somebunny's intent on slanderin' somebunny else and is grabbin' at straws...
