| Bright Beginnings
Sad part is that most parents just use Bright Beginnings/Headstart as a free babysitting service. Let the government pay to have someone watch our kids for a while. And sadly enough most parents WILL NOT teach their own kids the basics in life......like their colors, numbers and alphabet. I've even had parents tell me "it's the schools job, not mine" My........we've grown lazy! To be gut level honest, it's the parents job, and not some school, no matter what the income level is, etc. None of my kids attended a preschool or headstart, and all three were in the top of their class. All three were either the top one in their class, or next to top. And it was because we, the parents, took time to teach them........It's all part of a parents job......not the governments or the schools. |
