I dont really consider myself bigoted... or for that matter predgious.....and I am truely sorry about the cheap shot. at someone else's expense...that will never happen again....I truely have the utmost respect for all races.... military dependent for 37 years... My father did not tollerate raceism....nor did my first husband.... not from anyone...so... very very sorry for the poor judgement on my part..
Tex....I was raised in the south also..... My mom from KY...Dad from Ms....I even picked cotton back in the day when we were home on leave.....only lasted one day.... picked all day...and went and bought me a pack of cigarettes.....and a R O C cola (RC for those not from the south)... I dint' go back the next day....but I didnt' have to..... just wanted to be with my black friends... They.... on the other hand ....HAD to go back..... to be able to buy balogna and a box of crackers...That is the God awful truth...
They had it bad then .........and they still have it bad.......here in the south....I had been away for years, and I am shocked that some have not progressed in all this time....but they have been displaced by Illegals here also...
Thats why I said something about PLANTATIONS..... I am appalled and have not figured out why...... the black leaders , have not raised holy hell about that....That to me ...would be an insult....because its in your face everyday
