Can't say that I've ever heard this stated better. I acknowledge someone's right to bear a foreign flag, but I think it is deplorable that someone would insist on their right to change our laws when their allegiance obviously rests elswhere.

I hear quite often that bearing the Mexican flag is of cultural importance, but (call me a racist if you want) cultural assimilation is a very important aspect of naturalization. This is not to say that one should give up all parts of his heritage, but a general acceptance of American culture is a minimum requirement for political advocacy in my opinion.

If Mexico is so great and our laws are so terrible, the path is obvious, isn't it?
