Ms Hess at it again...

http://www.hutchnews.com/news/region...dge041406.html

Now, I dont know how many of you have had any kind of experience with Ms. Leslie Hess. The only way I have ever met her is when I am on the stand testifying and she is asking me questions. I think in at least half of the cases I have been in with her, while I was on the stand, she has accused me of lying, in front of the judge/jury. Please forgive me, as I am not a lawyer and I did not stay at a Holiday Inn last night, but I am assuming it is just a ploy to make people think the one she is questioning is indeed lying. She does a good job acting too, including the dropping of the shoulders, the smile of disbelief, the looking at the judge as if to say "Oh Judge...surely you cant believe HIM..."

I am not defending the jailer, because I dont know if he placed the call or not, I wasnt there. But, I would take anything that Ms Hess claims in the legal system with a grain of salt. Whenever I have seen inmates taken to the jail, I have never seen one denied a call to a lawyer. Also, court in this case took almost two years from the incident date to a hearing. Cops have reports and narratived they can fall back on to review the matter - jailers dont.
