| Hey may very well be. That doesn't preclude him from the right to a fair and proper trial, free from perjuring witnesses. It wouldn't matter to me if it was SATAN himself defending Osama Bin Laden, I would still expect the states witnesses to tell the truth under oath. This is a case where the state had a very good case agaisnt the defandant, but mucked it up due to procedural mistakes, and then lying under oath to cover up the mistakes. It is not the defendant that wasted the courts time and added to an already overburdened DA and court systems workload, it was the fault of the jailer for not covering his arse, and then lying about it that blew the case.
