Thanks for the picture of the post card. That is just the way I remembered it.
It was located where the present KFC is now.

Ah, some really good memories. We lived outside of town and were dirt poor, so didn't get to eat out often, but I do remember one time when all of my older brothers were home going to the Shangri-La. Their was two old ladies just finishing their meal when we went in. There was probably 12 to 14 of us and two of my brothers are real cards. Those ladies sat and eave dropped and were laughing at my brothers' stories and were still there drinking green tea when we left. I remember too, that it was the first time I had seen frog legs on a menu.
