| Everyone keeps saying how she lies in court. She is a defense attorney. She is not under oath and she does not testify. Her job as a defense attorney is to paint a picture for the court that casts doubt on the states case and best suits her client. She is supposed to impugn the witnesses, find inconsistencies, and cast doubt upon their testimony. Likewise, that is also what the prosecution does. If she didn't do that, she would be a bad attorney, and she wouldn't be doing her job. The oath that she took as an attorney is to vigorously defend her client. She does it well. You all may want to make this about Hess, but it is not. It is about the jailer. If Hess took the stand and testified under oath, I would expect her to tell the truth as well. |
