As I was thinking about all my old hang outs, got to thinking about the Coney Island. They had a fish basket that was out of this world. I used to hang with an older brother and he had me in lots of the coffee shops, like the Coffee Cup, Jack's(remember Mabel the cook that remembered all the orders in her head), Home Cafe, the name slips me now of the cafe where Maquirk's used car lot is, Silver Spur, Shangra-La(sp?).

Some of you on the forum my be old enough to remember.

I'm a little unsure but Mickey's Drive-In and Mickey's Malt Shop were popular back then. The Drive-In was there and there also was a Malt Shop about a block north. I just don't know if that malt shop was Mickey's, too.
