| If an internal investigation was done, and you say nothing happened from it then the officer was probably exonerated of any wrong doing. Whether you agree with it or not, and I wouldnt expect you to, since you are the one that was making the accusations.
As far as the jail incident goes - I cant really say much as they are county employees, not city. Did you file a complaint with the sheriff's office about this situation? And you might listen to your scanner 24/7, but female officers are not usually called to search female prisoners. If a female officer is available, sure, that is preferable. But I can tell you as of right now, there are no female officers on regular street duty for DCPD. I dont like searching females incident to arrest, and most of us dont. But I will put up with the few seconds of uncomfortableness to make sure I am not missing a weapon or something else. |
