It's painfully obvious that poor little Ashleigh has a small sphere of influence: Quote: No respect for Bush
In regard to Betty Peters' letter, "Respect Our President," I agree with respecting our presidents if they are honest and forthright to the American people.
President George W. Bush deserves no respect, in my opinion, for causing a war that could have been avoided and for having no respect for our constitution.
Bush has done nothing but manipulate intelligence and use warrantless wiretaps to gain political power. Who would respect someone when all they care about is their own agenda and not the causes and effects the American people have to struggle through?
From now on, Americans will suffer from the poor decisions the president has made for our country. Each and every day we have to wake up wondering about the safety of our friends and family and also about the soldiers in Iraq fighting over something to this day is still a mystery.
Our country is in the dark about everything. We can't trust him, let alone respect him. What kind of president does the United States have? And why should we respect someone who doesn't respect the true American citizens?
