It's still unoperational at this point. I have done all of the above. I tried restarting it and Hitting f-8 and starting it in SAFE mode and at the LAST known working mode...both...no go.
When it gets so far along it then just clicks off and reboots like it's in a loop. It's like someone just shuts it off and turns it back on. Is it time to throw it away?
