Unfortunately, I don't think that we will ever elect a responsible politician until the campaign spending sees some
MAJOR limitations. For all I know, Bronco-Fan, you are the best person to be our next President. But I will never know that, unless you are sitting on millions of dollars that you are willing to spend on your campaign. Elections today aren't about electing the best person for the job, it's about who can spend the money needed to market themselves in a way that will get them elected.
