| And after carefull examination the Laptop is "TOAST". CMOS is whacked on it bigtime. Can not even enter Cmos. I found the re-set switch, which if pressed while the LapTop on, will kill the power and attempt a re-boot. Still stuck at the same press F2 to enter setup, which does nothing.
Was going to flash his bios but can not boot from floppy.
Good news is his CPU, Memory, and HD are all in good shape and could be used to upgrade another laptop. We need to find him a cheap laptop. |
