| I think they made the right choice - by Texas law (and in Texas it's next to impossible to prove someone insane) the prosecution didn't prove she wasn't insane. She is probably the only person that has met the criteria by law.
I do altho feel her X should be charged with accessory - hell he's guiltier than she is IMO. They were told her psycosis was so severe there should be no more pregnancies - he pretty much kept her barefoot and pregnant.
I'm glad she will get the treatment she needs and maybe she can pick up some sort of life while he is humpin his new baby machine
