Bubba, Personally, i've marched on two different types of artificial turf. The one at K-State, and the old one at Ft Hay's. The one at Ft Hay's was like walking on outdoor carpet on cement, which is probably what it was. Much harder, even on us band geeks, than real grass, on hard dirt. K-State's however was more like walking on a soft gymnastics pad. You sink into it as you walk. Much easier on us, and i'm sure the teams too. It will depend on what kind they go with, as I'm sure the softer you want, the more expensive, but in the end, would pay for itself.

One thing i forgot about in my last post, was the cost and upkeep of the mowers themselves. They're not cheap to buy, and cost even more when they break down.

Anybody remember the RB that took us to sub-state with a 10-0 regular season record in 1994?

And his dad, well at least it's what he told me, played for the chefs. All I can find though, if it's the same one, is when he played at Vanderbilt, http://www.vanderbilt.edu/commodores...ry/rushing.htm and when he was drafted in the USFL by Tampa Bay. I know he lived in Dodge a few years ago, guess he still does, and may have went to school there.
