| What motto's do you refer to?
In the Pledge of Allegiance, where it says one nation under god? "Under god" wasn't added to the pledge until 1954.
Or maybe the "In God We Trust" that is stamped on all our money? That wasn't added until 1957 I believe.
After more research, it appears that it has been on coins since 1908 and paper currency since 1957.
