Just curious why you picked the Essex? The Essex class ships themselves are a large part of what turned the Pacific War around after the Enterprise, Hornet, Lexington and Yorktown held the Japanese off at Coral Sea and Midway. The class served faithfully into the era of the nuclear supercarrier. IMO, they don't get enough credit for their role in keeping the cold war just that-cold .
