I salute your father for his part in keeping those great warships going so that you, the others, and I can debate these things all day long without fear of incarceration or worse. IMO the work they did in the Pacific during a beat Germany first mentality and their ability to be on site during cold war hotspots post wwII has never been fully appreciated and recognized in history.
