Recently I bought my kid a new bike. One of the other neighbor kids tore the crap out of it, then decided to do some 'maintenance' on it, took the wheels off, the brakes, the chain, then decided he didn't know what he was doing and sent it back in pieces.

When I asked the kid why he had seen fit to destroy a brand new bike he called me a "fag" and said that if I didn't shut up about the bike he would "kill me and my retard kid".

I went to his house to talk to the parents about it. Calmly and carefully I explained what had happened, what had been said and asked the father what he thought was the best course of action. What did the father say to me? "It's just kids messing around".

Great. So now I have 50 bucks down the drain, a kid with no bike and a load of scrap metal in my back yard.

Monster, if I was there local I’d tell you to bring it over where I have my tools and try to help you put it together. Maybe someone here on the board that’s closer will step up and give you a hand.
