| This kinda thing absolutely speaks volumes about the parent than the child. It used to go on when I was growing up in Dodge (a hundred years ago, as a matter of fact!!!). The only difference was that you could usually count on the bike showing up again - either with the parent in tow or just appearing. It's a whole different world. The parent probably grew up with a sense of entitlement (and the Robin Hood complex), so the child is growing up the same way. Sad, isn't it?
