I may be wrong, but I don't think I am....Boot Hill did get our tax money from the city, but it wasn't property tax money. The commisioners stole money out of the "Why not Dodge" fund, which is the extra sales tax money that you and I fork over every time you make a purchase in Dodge City or Ford County. I still don't think it was right
"or legal" for them to take that money and deviate from where it was/is supposed to go and give it to Boot Hill or the Round-Up Arena. But, if it's true that Boot Hill used that money to pay lobbyists some heads should roll for that!
