I have just moved to dodge, but have always enjoyed asian style food and have eaten at many chinese, japanese and thai restaurants whever I get the chance. I was aprehensive about finding a good asian restaurant in dodge, but all I have to say is thank goodness for Sarocha's Thai!
There are very few places in Kansas where you can get curry dishes and theirs are wonderful, Sarocha's offers such a great variety! My husband and I love their yellow curry with potatoes and chicken, however our favorite is the Thai Noodle Salad, it is an absolutly wonderful balance of a meat of your choice, chicken, beef or seafood, noodles, lettuce, cucumbers and marinated carrots all served in a huge bowl with a unique dressing, garnished with crushed peanuts. It's fabulous! It's one of those dishes that you develop a craving for and want again and again.
Keep in mind this is not a fast food joint! Every dish is made to order, homemade, so go on in, relax and enjoy! They also have great thai tea, which is a spicy tea with a creamy milk added. Very sweet but good!
I would be devistated if they were unable to stay open, give them a try, you won't be disappointed! Don't worry about the construction either, take the back entrance off of 14th.
