I'm not in the 30% bracket yet....but working on it...lol.
Just because someone has a job in the private sector doesn't mean they have to be paid the minimum wage. Right now most jobs get filled at the minimum wage. When people stop working for that wage then maybe it needs to go up. MOST minimum wage jobs are unskilled labor and should be paid as such. And yes Wordy, prices DO go up on items when the minimum wage increases.
"THIS ADMINISTRATION" has made mistakes in Iraq..it is expected. No one could predict the things that are happening now in Iraq. If they could they would be working in a shop in New Orleans reading futures. Mistakes have been made..of course...could things have been done better...of course but at least "THIS ADMINISTRATION" has the balls to confront terror instead of turning their back on the attacks that have happened in the past. (see prior adminstration) because they were afraid of how it would affect their legacy....I guess you expected a perfect war in Iraq. What would YOU have done differently? What would you do NOW? It's easy to be critical but offer a solution. Would you pull out? Add troops? What?
