You mean they had enough kids for "teams" way back then???? I am surprised they even had "High School" back then!!! Course, they probably "home schooled" out of the back of the covered wagon!!
I agree with ya on the water tower, Muffie!! It used to look awesome during football games! Same on the uniforms anymore. They got rid of the "Demon" and put on some kind of half assed forked kinda thingy. Course, you had the religious fanatics (or should I say fanatic) bitching about the team mascot.
Just another sign of too much PC in todays society. It is a DAMN MASCOT people----------------Just like the big deal on using INDIAN names-----------give me a BREAK!!!! I wonder if the 'Hooker Horny Toads' or the 'Hereford WhiteFaces' have this much turmoil with their mascot names??? (Hooker, Oklahoma & Herford, Texas--for those who don't know)
