Today's reboot took me to microsoft's update page and I clicked on what looked appropriate.... it rattled the hard drive for quite awhile so I left it for a few hours and prowled around the hood. It was still rattling without any screen change when I returned. Soooooo, I rebooted, ran ad-aware, and the hard drive's still constantly chattering with very slow surfing.

Lots of data being transfered as seen in shot (right-click and open in new winder for best viewing) "a" and "b" and the task manager's shot shows a few instances of svchost.exe with the highlighted one being the heaviest user... It also won't let me stop it.

What to dew, what to due, what to do?
