My view is why would it be so bad to take money and spend it in some manner that would make Boot Hill self sufficient? Is that a bad thing? Even if it was to lobbists - would it matter if it made the entity that much more independent? Then IF it was completely in the black - the city could take some extra funds and help another project - like the park, raceway track, sports complex,.....etc. What's the big deal? Sounds like they didn't have Criteria that had to be met on HOW to spend the money - sounds like they didn't spend it unwisely - but if they had - it wouldn't be the first group in
DC that got tax money and blew it.........I love Boot Hill - and I'd drive the 13 hrs to gamble if it were there......
