The Army times is
NOT an official military publication at all. In fact we don't keep the times in our recruiting station. It is a publication of "news of the Army" (or whatever svc you are, respectively) but it is in NO way, shape or form an official military publication. It's a news device just like the USA today or any other media.
I think Rummy resigned because he knew what was coming. He probably would have been forced out at some point. He knew he was going to be in the crosshairs of the liberal sniper rifle. Instead of going through a long arduous, finger pointing, name calling (libs like to do that) process he just stepped down. Now he can go hunting...with Dick. LOL
