| Current Politics tied to British Past
Today in lecture my british history professor had told us about the elections following WWII in England. He said Churchill had said that a vote for the labour party was a vote for bolshevism. The closest quote i have found in 10 minutes of search was, "no truth that you can vote Labour or Liberal without voting against me."
sounds awfully similar to "a vote for the democrats is a vote for terrorism"
in the british case the labour party won majority and the democrats won the majority here in the U.S.
funny how things work out against you.
This is purely an informative post, not intended to re-awaken sleeping dragons. I just like how current things reflect the past.
