Went shopping at WallyWorld tonight, and bought mostly usual stuff, but for some reason or another, they no longer carry the Johnsonville Cheddar Bratwurst. Their usual price is $3.66 a pack, for all thier johnsonville products. So, I went to Dillons to see if they had it. They did, but for $4.99, on sale. $5.29 regular price. So, I checked a couple of other things that i had bought, to compare prices. The two I could remember, and checked, were Kraft 16oz Cheddar Cheese, most varieties. Walmart's regular price, $3.66, dillons, same story, $4.99, on sale. I also bought a Duncan Hines Pineapple Supreme cake mix for $.78, but I could have bought it at Dillons for $1.29. It's no surprise to me that Dillons is going downhill with prices like that. For most of us po' folks, we can't afford to be paying higher prices to help keep dillons open. If they want to stay around, they're gonna have to lower thier prices, because I can't afford to shop there.
