| My apologies
I must apologize for my bad choice of words. There are a lot of great people that live in Dodge and a lot of them are my friends. I was born and raised in Dodge City as well as my dad. I know there are times when we joke around and I will be the first to admit I love a great Mexican joke (there are a lot of them). But this post was about ideas for a new school name. A NEW SCHOOL. A grade school on top of that. There are alot of illegals in that town, and alot that are not. But don't blame the kids for their parents wrong doing. There is a time for jokes and discussing the future and education in Dodge city is not one of them. I hope you all can forgive me for being upset about the way this forum starts out. But just think, if a tourist or a future resident wants to know more about Dodge City and finds a site with comments like this, then where does that leave the future of Dodge City? I hope that one day the government will get the illegal immigrant situation under control, but we are just going to have to live with it while it lasts. I know I do.  |
