Donnie Edwards, another Chiefs cast-off, didn't look too bad last night for the Bolts, either. He had several sacks, and an interception.
Marty was a great Coach every place that he went to. I assumed after he got the deal at Washington, getting paid ALOT of money to not have to Coach, that he would kind of coast down and enjoy life. But Marty, like most of the good ones, are Coaches to the end. I bet San Diego is glad that they picked him up. Now if he can just get that "Monkey off his back" and win the big one, that would make his day. The Pittsburgh Coach finally achieved that last year. That is the same thing that haunted Roy Williams in KU basketball too, the "monkey on the back". He left for N Carolina, and shot the monkey.
I'm kinda getting used to my monkey. Had him for too long, and I finally got him trained to be a "trunk monkey"!
