Yep...last Christmas...when I worked at Havertys Fine Furniture.... at HHI, SC
we had to answer phones..... Happy Holidays.... so as not to offend ....
..... Why??
It was corporate that issued that memo.... and the company is 120 years old...
Who told them to change things.... Who.... is so important to get them to stop a tradition that had been around for so many years and stopped in 2005....
My manager had been with the company 19 years and that was the first year to ban Merry Christmas...
