
Oh, just great. Now you've even gone and ruined my vision of the OTHER giant. I've seen the signs they post (huge) in their store about the money they give back to the community - and the scholarships and such. I don't know how much the scholarships are....but I do know when my oldest worked there in his teens and early college years, he wasn't eligible for a scholarship because he had a job. Now, mind you, a minimum wage job and a dad that didn't contribute. And a mom - well, that was the baaaad marriage - nuff said. They aren't the best community steward, either - they prey on local businesses, take tax cuts where they can, and on and on. What are we going to do? Unless we all agree to spend our dollars somewhere else...but then after they've run anybody else out of business, where else will there be to shop?
