RIP Eileen Nufer

I was called this evening by a couple of friends from my old job and given very, very, sad news. Eileen Nufer was killed today in a tragic car accident in Gray County.

The Nufer family are the kind of people that makes my family miss Dodge City daily. We were lucky enough to meet the Nufers through a mutual friend over 14 years ago.

Eileen and Steve treated us so nice from the minute we met them. Eileen & Steve are the kind of people that would give you the last penny they had if you needed it. They raised 3 beautiful daughters, Amanda, Stephanie & Erica.

Our hearts go out to Steve, Amanda, Stephanie & Erica. The Di Gerolamo family mourns with you, even though we are so far away. We will keep you in our daily prayers.

I hope Steve, Amanda, Stephanie & Erica find comfort in knowing that Eileen is at peace with God, who she loved, and lived by his creed. Eileen's good deeds have touched so many people. The goodness she spread will live in the hearts of many people for years to come.
