Stuffed here also. Done things a little different this year as we decided not to travel out of town to see family. This year the wife and I decided to have Thanksgiving with a family that is great friends and also invited some other single seniors over to celebrate Thanksgiving as these elders are all widowed or never been married. Wanted to share the tradition of Thanksgiving to those people that have no family here or live to far for them to travel. Lurker forgot about you, sorry old dog, next year.
Also heard from wife's son, who is in Mississippi training to go to Iraq. The Army had an article in the paper there asking families to adopt-a-soldier for Thanksgiving. He was adopted out and was allowed off Base for Thanksgiving with a family he didn't know and thought that was a really cool Idea.
