I know it happens all the time but ....I hadn't had it happen till today
I went online to check my banking account...which I do every day...
and someone had used my debit card on my account to the tune of over one thousand dollars.....trying to get a cash advance from Western Union......... riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight .....like I have that in my account....
They also had opened an account with Limewire for 18.88
I called Bank of America...and then we had a 3 way call to Western Union and they had already flagged the transaction because the perp had tried to change my info...
I had to send an email to Limewire... unauthorized use of card
moral of this story...
Do not let your grandchildren ..... go on your puter while they are visiting for holidays..... we think the hacking came from them downloading songs and free downloads ....I have a kazazz account already... not sure if it came from them or what
