I won't disagree that Walmart has better prices, but I would rather pay a few cents more for the items I buy than to have to deal with the parking at Walmart, usually full. Also, the shoppers in Walmart, usually rude, I mean really, I usually run into the 2 mexican ladies with 3 kids each who have to stop in the middle of the isle to talk instead of pulling out of the isle. Then when you come up to get by and say excuse me...they look at you like they can't believe you are making them move out of the way!! Then, once you get your shopping done at Wamart then you go to check out to find dozens of empty registers and a few open with huge lines at them. I go to Dillon's, usually park close to the front, go in and don't have to deal with the huge crowd, get the items I want and go to the checkout with a minimal wait in the checkout line. To me it's worth the extra $$$ to not have to deal with all the crap you have to deal with when you go to Walmart.
When I do go to Walmart, it's usually after midnight, better parking no, crowds. The only thing you have to deal with on a late night shopping spree are the pallets everywhere and the rude restockers. But that is usually better than the daytime crowd to deal with.
That's my opinion....but you know what they say about opinions......
