It's been proven time and time again that uniforms work - I didn't make the rules - I just follow them. Course I'm military and law enforcement and medical so I pretty much follow the rules and believe in rules and uniforms. Uniforms are much cheaper than trying to buy designer clothes so kids feel equal.

My kids didn't have uniforms but as a nurse I can tell ya - they are easier! Uniforms tell you who does what, some students could pass as teachers cause the 13 yo look like teachers and act like teachers if they can get away with it. It is what the name implies.......... it imparts uniformity to a crowd........

Take it to the school board and try to get it reversed if you feel that strongly about it - good luck with whatever happens!
