First of all, I really like this site and the operation of this VBulletin V-3.5.0 It's a very nice improvement over all previous versions that I am familiar with.

I surf using the New Posts button and have noticed that my replying to a post shows up as a new post. 3.0.5 recognizes my new post as already being read. Just might be a quirk....

Some versions will open an attachment in a new winder.... This V opens in the same winder. Might be an admin option? If so, I prefer a new winder and will keep that winder open for further images and will simply change the image number (in address bar) to match any new image offered by posters. Often times the images are sequential in location number.

Links to other sites: Can't recall right now, but I believe they open in the same window..... There again, I prefer a new window and usually select that option with a right click; but I have mis-cued and gone on a tangent, and then have forgotten where it came from.... and X'd out instead of backing up. That loses the browser and requires a new browser & login.

FWIW, I have selected to view threads with the newest post being first. That requires scrolling up instead of down; but clicking on a thread (header) link goes to the newest post first.

I don't think I'm complaining; just thinking "out loud" and am interested in how other lurkers browse these sites.



Edit: this post was recognized as being read when I went from the post-send window to "new posts." Go figger.
