I think part of the problem is the freedom being given to children by todays society. For some reason, which I have yet to understand, people seem to think these kids should be treated as adults. That is until they commit a crime then of course they're just being kids.

I think schools have become afraid to do what needs to be done, thanks to certain parents and law suits, and kids know it.

I also think our immigration issue has had an adverse affect on kids. The law has become more an issue of personal opinion than a set of rules thanks to our failing to enforce it. These immigrants are getting away with things we could never expect too.

I think some parents, like the schools, have given up on trying to teach accountability. Kids deface public property because they can and have no respect for themselves or others.

Until parents can take the responsibility of holding the schools responsible for allowing the liberal system to turn out a bunch of irresponsible hoodlums there's not much that can be done.
