I wouldn't participate in one and don't personally approve of it.
Codifying my beliefs just because I believe them is also something I wouldn't participate in.
My only real complaint is that the woman gets to make the decision for all 3 people involved - herself, the baby and the father.
If she decides to abort and the father wanted the baby he can't change her mind.
If she decides to have the baby and the father doesn't want it, he still has to pay child support.
This is a deeply personal thing that only the people involved should have any say over.
