Holy Wyatt Earp! What would Marshal Matt Dillon think if a bunch of strapping young cowboys hid their big ol' pistols as they walked the dusty streets of Boot Hill?
Some nutty Dodge City commissioners want to restrict the state's concealed carry gun law by banning concealed carry in parks and other places.
Well, no wonder. This is Dodge City, after all. Where cowboys wear their hearts on their sleeves and their six-shooters strapped to their thighs.
No need for idle conversation or for commissioners to dirty their hands with the messy business of concealed carry in a town that eats, sleeps and drinks cowboys and gunslingers.
For the love of Miss Kitty, if you're not man enough to holster that weapon for all to see, don't call yourself a Dodge Citian.
Everyone knows concealed carry is for those big city-slicker types from Hutchinson. You know the kind. They hide their little pistols in their pockets and tiny purses.
