Well if I wasn't singled out she sure didn't seem to bother with the rest. Here is a picture right after the ticket looking both direction. Note the lack of lights on the others? In fact she ignored a car that passed us as we turned the corner with no light on.
I'm quite sure she knows exactly who I am and what I drive. I did get rather blunt with her driving intentions. By the way I also got ticked for no seatbelt. Now that I don't dispute. I normally always wear a belt but had just left the Med Center and was side tracked talking with Zeb about the problem. Who knows. Maybe she recognized him and his taking pictures at that wreck.
Anyway. Whats the legal visibility distance before lights become a ticketing offense instead of a warning?

What time/day did you get your ticket compared to when you were dealing with the slow police car? There are different shifts and I don't think each shift has a female officer. As far as the officer smiling, well....they get complained on if they "look" grumpy or appear to be rude or if they smile, people think they are gloating.

It was 10:00am and it looks darker in the pictures than it really was. I can understand an officer putting on a happy face, but I can also spot someone on the verge of laughter. Out in bad weather and shes almost in hysterical laughter?
My problem was the ticket. I thought my lights were on and even pointed to my dash and showed her my fog lights were on. She said I had no lights. Well my fog lights don't even come on without my head lights on. OK so my headlights were not on, so why not a warning? It's not as if I did it on purpose. In fact she knew as far as I knew they were on.
It's all good. I can take my gloves off as well. I do carry a camera in my car
