I've experienced one home invasion and three burglaries in my life, all in Dodge and all within the last 5 years.

I only wish my sister that was viciously raped and beaten last year here in Dodge while out jogging was as lucky as you, macdaddy.

I wish that my close female friend was as lucky as you and had not been beaten and raped and front of her 2 children a few years back.

I can only wonder how things would have been had they been able to protect themselves.

How many times does it take? There comes a time when you are foolish not to protect yourself.

Still, I am happy that you have been so fortunate. I am fairly sure that had fate dealt you a different hand, you might think differently.
