but nothing is as bad as walking up to the gym doors or other doors that don't let people smoke inside and have 10 people standing right in the doorway smoking. At least have some sense and more away from the doors

Now before when smoking was allowed INSIDE we didn't see a problem with smokers at the doorways. We had areas where people smoked and areas where people didn't smoke. Smokers have been forced to huddle in groups where the ashcan is. No satisfying the complainers until the right is gone.
Smokers huddle around the door because thats where the ashcan is. Would you prefer we throw the butts on the ground? Then people would complain about the butts. You don't like smokers at the door complain to the owner about where the ashcan is, don't complain to the smokers.
I wish people were as protective of the right to smoke as the right to carry a pistol. Yes smoking is a Right, at least for now. I have the Right to smoke and you have the Right to complain, but we should be concerned when the government steps on anyones Rights whether you agree with them or not. Because it's only a matter of time before your Rights get stepped on and you may just find yourself alone.
