I was referring to immigrants with visas and green cards. If they are here legally, then generally speaking you cannot use their immigrant status to exclude them from a job. There are exceptions depending on the position (USA president = US citizen by right of birth).

To my knowledge there is no law that says not hiring a legal immigrant is discrimination. Problem is, there is no law that says it is not either.
