Without being in a flood plain, you're not eligible for National Flood Insurance. You can buy flood insurance from another source, but it will likely have a very, very high deductible and be very, very expensive. Most homeowners won't pay it if they can't even pay NFIP rates. And Dodge wants to build the SEC in Wright Park. Are they betting that the flood won't happen?
