Look, britain made the jewish state...right or wrong is up to your opinion, but it did stir up some trouble in the arab world by taking up their(palastinians) land. Britain left and we stuck around and decided we'd deal with the madness. If us sticking around and doin britains job makes us "good allies" then wouldnt your second statement about "Britian, the Netherlands, Lithuania or whatever country wants to pull their troops out of Iraq" and you not having ill will toward them...wouldnt that make them bad allies for not wanting to stick around with US? And regardless of how YOU want to spin it, we were stuck with our hand in a cookie jar...no one else was stickin around but we did.
About not caring what another country thinks about the US. I think it would be a good thing to care. I mean i don't really care all to much about what people think about me personally, but i definately don't want to make enemies so i watch what i do and say.
All is far from the true point of the thread but whatever...after thinking about it, America could prolly win this thing with just our troops, but it's gonna be tough. I think it would be good for those countries to stick around for some diplomatic help.
but i voted for a democrat so i'm a terrorist...what do i know anyway.
